With our overnight pet sitting, a caring sitter arrives in the evening, stays through the night, and heads out after breakfast, so your dog or cat keeps their normal routine in their own home. What an Overnight Stay Includes
Our overnight stays run from 7pm to 7am. Here’s what a typical night looks like:
- Evening arrival: We say hello, serve dinner, refresh the water bowl, and take care of an evening walk or potty break.
- Medications and special care: We give medications on schedule, including subcutaneous (SQ) fluids when your vet has prescribed them.
- Playtime and cuddles: Some pets want a game of fetch, others want a lap. We follow their lead.
- All-night company: Your pet has someone close by all night, and your home isn’t sitting empty.
- Morning routine: A morning walk or potty break, breakfast, fresh water, and one more round of belly rubs before we go.
- Photos and videos: You’ll get photos and videos so you can see how the night went.

Overnight Pet Sitting FAQ
What time do you arrive and leave? Our overnight stays run from 7pm to 7am. We arrive in the evening in time for dinner and stay until after the morning routine.
Can you give my pet medications or SQ fluids during an overnight? Yes. We give medications and subcutaneous fluids at home, following your vet’s instructions.
What happens if my pet has an emergency during the night? We plan for this before your trip. We know the nearest emergency vets, and our owner is trained in Red Cross pet CPR and first aid.
Will I hear how my pet is doing? Yes! We send photos and videos so you can see your pet relaxed and happy at home.
